Life Update #4

So i have a little update for you today, a lot of things have been and are going to be in my life at the minute and i wanted to let you guys know. BTW this is a very writing heavy post so grab a cuppa and enjoy.

Job
I got my first ever job (yay). At my college there is also a working beauty salon, and they were looking for girls who are doing beauty level 3 to work for them, as they were very low on staff, so when i saw the advertisement i had to apply for it, it took longer than a month for everything to b finalised which is ridiculous but my college is very disorganised, but after a while of emailing back and forth and me giving them lots of information the lady emailed me and said i had got it, i was sooo happy. Its around a month later and i still haven't started but i talk about that in the finger section of this post

Work experience
Along with my course we have to get a work experience placement, and there was a spa in Birmingham that i really wanted to do it at, so i went into the spa and asked about it, unfortunately the manager wasn't in so i gave my information in and the girl said someone will ring or email me, three days later i hadn't heard anything back, so i thought i would ring up to see what was going on, and it turned out that this girl didn't give the manager my information which was ridiculous, but it was a good job that i called other wise i wouldn't of got it. The manager told me to email her some information like my CV and what week i would like to do it and some other bits, so i did this and unfortunately the week i wanted to do it another person was doing theirs, i was very upset about this as i didn't think i would be able to do it now. So i spoke to my tutor at college and she said it would be okay for me to do it a different week which was amazing. So i got back to the spa and they said that i could do it the week after. I am currently now doing the work experience, i have done one day so far and i enjoyed it i was in from 11am-7.30pm, it was a very long day but i enjoyed it.
I cant do any treatments as there insurance doesn't cover work experience which is a same, but i still get to see how a working spa works, i did a lot of cleaning and working on reception but i also got to help the girls tidy up there rooms if they have client after client and needed there room clean and tidy fast which is fun, i also got to speak to the clients and take them to the relaxation room which is where they go before there treatment which was great, and i would of thought that my other days are going to be like this as well.

Finger
So on good Friday i was at home having a nice relaxing day and then my dad made me help him in the garden. He was moving the green house and to do this he had to take the glass out, so he thought while the glass panels were out he may as well clean them so of course i got the job off cleaning them by hand, it was all going well until i was turning a glass panel over and the corner snapped off and took a big chunk of my skin off all the way down the my vein, so about 2 hrs later it was still bleeding so my mom thought it was right to take to to a&e so we did, three times in one night from the times of seven o'clock to 3am and it was bleeding from 5pm-3am, i had doctors, nurses, hand specialists and plastic surgents all come and see me, finally at around 1 or 2 am they put this special piece of material which was meant to stop it from bleeding so that was on for a about 30 mins to an hour and it was still bleeding and that's when the plastic surgents came and sorted me out they took the same piece of material put it on my finger putting presser on and my arm up in the air and finally at around 3 am it stopped bleeding. I was sent home and it was fine and it hasn't bleed again since, i went to the nurse a few times after to change the dressing and so they could take a look at it, that special piece of material stayed on my finger and that helped from the scab to form and for about three weeks i was waiting for that to fall of like a natural scab would, and today the day i am writing this it fell of, the skin underneath has gown back fine but the top layer of my skin still hasn't grown back and still very delicate. Because of this my left hand has been out of use so of course i haven't been able to do assessments at college or start my job.

Birthday
So as you may already know on Saturday the 17th of may i turned 18, i had a wonderful day and i also actually had colour put on my hair for the first time ever lol, if you want to know more about my birthday take a look at this post.

Paris
For my birthday my mom is taking me to Paris, surprisingly i have never been to the center of Paris but i have been to France loads of times, i am really looking forward to it not only for sights but also for the shopping so if there is anything you recommend me picking up from sephora or a pharmacy let me know.

Update
Monday - college, at the start of the day i had a planning lesson for some group work we have to do, which was kind of boring. Then this man came in bit later and told us about how to apply for student finance, which was helpful to me as i need to do that for when i apply to beauty therapy level 4 and 5, and then we were on the computers for like 3 hours doing our assignments and other work we had to finish. In my practical lesson later on, i did an formative assessment in aromatherapy massage.
Tuesday - I was at home and didn't really do anything, just watched a bit of telly and wrote a blog post.
Wednesday - I'm meant to have two lessons on a Wednesday but one of my teachers couldn't come in so i just had my function skill English lesson for 2 hours then went home. when i got home all i did was write a blog post.
Thursday - I was at home and all i did was go food shopping with my dad and i think i wrote a blog post but i cant remember lol.
Friday - College, i had two practical lessons facial electricals were i practiced facial galvanic, and then body electricals were i was just been a client for one of my friends, i had faradic and galvanic.
Saturday - I went shopping with my mom and brought one of my birthday presents and a play-suit for when i go on holiday, and i brought some makeup from MUA and three nail polish's from sinful colors which i got in the 3 for 2 offer in boots.

Weekly update #2

Hello, so today i have another week update for you, its not on the same day as last week because i was busy Monday, im going to do these posts on Sundays from now on.

Instagram
My newest pictures that i have put up on instagram this week, they are mainly a few new things i have brought and pictures i thought looked nice. My instagram name is BeautyCallls.

Update
So this week it was half term so i didn't do anything really, so im just going to tell you about the days i actually did something.
Friday - I went to London today with my Aunt, Mom and my Cousin, we mainly were just shopping, we went to paper chase and brought a load of stuff from the sale (the pencil case in the pictures above). We went to & other stories which i was really excited about but i was actually very disappointed, the clothes weren't my style at all and everything was very expensive, the beauty haul was okay it was the bit i only really wanted to look at and again everything was very expensive. Then we went to Liberty's and had a look round the beauty haul which i loved, i didn't buy anything but i really liked the look on the Chanteille eye shadows. We also looked at the chocolate section were my mom brought some chocolate for my brother. We also went to Forever 21, Ted Baker, pull & bear, Lush and loads of other places, we had such a lovely day.
Monday - I went to London again, but this time with my college, we went to the professional beauty show at the ExCel, i had a lovely day and brought loads of lovely things (that's my next post).

Weekly update #1

Hello im back, im going to start doing some more posts on my blog and they are going to be a little different to my post i did before, im going to do these weekly update posts where i will show u my recent instagram pictures and tell what i did last week, these posts will probably be on different days but i will try to assign a day that they will be posted, lets just hope i keep it up.

So the pictures up there are the pictures i have recently uploaded to instagram, some of them are recent purchases and the others are just pictures i thought looked nice. Please follow my instagram as i upload at least one picture a day over there. My name is Beautycallls.

Update
So last week i didn't really do much a part from college but i will tell you what i did anyway.
Monday - College, im normally in college on a Monday from 11.00 - 7.30 but one of my tutors couldn't come in so i only had to go in 3.30- 6.30 which was cool. I only had one lesson and that was aroma-therapy massage, we have learnt all the moves on all the ares so we just practised the full body massage.
Tuesday - On Tuesday im not at college and i just spend the day a home doing nothing really, but at around 3.00 my auntie texted me asking if she could have a back massage and her eyebrows done so off course i said yes. She has bad back problems so she asked for a course of back massages ounce a week so that was cool as i earn money doing it.
Wednesday - College, today i had a functional skills English exam in the morning which went okay. And then i had my retail lesson,in that lesson its was just a catch up lesson, so we were just organising our folders and doing any work we hadn't done. And that was all i did on Wednesday.
Thursday - Thursdays im not at college and all i normally do is go food shopping with my dad in the morning and that's all i did.
Friday - Back at college, so today at college we are in the salon all day, but today i actually had my work experience in the morning, which was actually quite good. We learnt how to answer the phone and book clients into the computer, i also did a treatment on a paying client which is always scary but it went really well, i did a full body Swedish massage and the lady really enjoyed it which was good. Later on it was our body electricals lesson were we did body micro-current which is actually quite boring as its very easy and we don't really do much.
Saturday - I went into town with mom and did a bit of shopping, if you look at the pictures above there is a picture of two garnier products which i brought from boots, i got them for a bargain there was an offer on 2 for £4 which i couldn't say no to as the miceller water is £4.99 by itself. I also brought a pick and mix lol.
Sunday - Sundays are lazy days for me, and my brothers and dad went to golf and then my mom went out with her sister, so i had some of the day to myself which was nice, i didn't really do much though, all i was some work for college and watch the TV and some YouTube.

So that was my week, and i actually really enjoyed writing this so i will defo try and keep it up.

Were have i been ?

Hello everyone, well as you might have noticed i haven't put a blog post up in a very long time, and that's simply because i just cant be bothered to do it, the only thing i like about blogging is taking pictures and getting feedback from you guys. So i will be taking a break from blogging but that doesn't mean i will be coming back i haven't made my mind up yet.

Im Back - France 2013

Hello everyone, so im back from France. If you read my last post then you will know i went to France for nine days and lets just say i had a great time, i went with my mom, dad, brother and auntie. We stayed in a villa that was really lovely and the beach was just around the corner which was great. I have just a few pictures to show you of a beach, some yachts and a bridge that my parents made a big deal out of for some reason, i thinks its were the river Loire meets the sea.

I went in to a few french pharmacy and lets just say it was like my heaven in there i loved it, but every think was so expensive so i didn't end up buying any think, i wasn't that crazy about wanting to buy any think anyway. I did buy one thing from a beauty shop that was in a supermarket, i brought a travelo kind of thing that was only 4 euro. So all in all i had a great time with my family, i love going to France its my favorite place to go on holiday we go there almost very summer and we always have a great time and we have lots of great memories

Auvoir - Im off to France

Bonjour everyone, So on Friday the 5th of July i am off to France for nine days, so i wont be putting up any posts for a while. Let me know if you would like to see a post on the makeup i am taking and if you would like a to see a post on my holiday including pictures of things i did, i will also do a haul of the things i buy if i do. Barry M NOTD #14 and update

Hello everyone. So today's post is a NOTD, this polish is by Barry m i don't actually know the colour as it dosent say on the bottom, i got it a clothes show and for some reason they take the names of the products, god knows why. This colour is really lovely though its a redy pinky orangey coral colour it looks like a different colour in different lights. Barry M polishes are lovely, the formula is great i only needed two coats to make this colour opaque and the lasting power is amazing, i was wearing it for about 5-6 days and there was only a few chips.

Know for a little update, on Saturday im going on holiday to a place called Croyde in south of England, so there wont be any posts for about a week hopefully i will get one up the Sunday after i come back. Let me know if you would like to see the makeup and skincare things i am taking with me because if you do i will take the pictures when i get back and post a few days after, and i will definitely do a haul of things that i buy on my holiday.

Christmas day off course, we open one present on Christmas eve which is always a new pair of pjs.
