How long to keep your makeup for.

Hello everyone
Today I'm going to tell you how long you are meant to keep your makeup for, now i know many of you like me don't listen to things like this we just keep are makeup until its finished or until it smells weird. This is just going to be a factual kind of post, if you were wondering here are the answers.




Liquid and cream foundation
You can keep foundation for 2 years.

Concealer
Concealer is a lot like foundation it also lasts for 2 years

Powder products : face powder, powder blush,and powder eye shadow
You can keep powder products for 2 years

Mascara
You can keep mascara up to 6 months

Lipstick
You can keep lipsticks for 12-18 months 

Lip and eye pencils
You can keep pencils for 12-18 months

Cream blush
You can keep cream blush for 2 years

Moisturiser, sun cream and face cream
These creams lasts for 2 years

 Eye cream
This lasts for 6 months

    I'm actually surprised foundation and powder last that long but I am also surprised at how little time lipstick keeps - I don't like that!

      I Thought the same about lipstick, i thought it lasted way longer than that lol xx

    I'm suprised that powder lasts that long, I have to admit I'm a bit awful when it comes to throwing products away :/ xx

    I'm one of those people who forgets about something then loves it a year later so I can't say I will ever be sticking to this, especially when things are so expensive. I've never actually had any problems with decent make up products going 'off' so hopefully I'll be alright x

    Great post, I'm so bad with make up and keeping things too long, I think I have a 3 year old mascara lurking around a bag somewhere :s

    I would never get rid of my lipsticks after 12-18 months! Especially all my mac lipsticks. I don't use them enough so it would be like throwing away money. Thanks for sending your link to me via the bbloggers chat. xx
