Week in outfits // How i style skater skirts

Hello everyone so today's post is going to be a little different to my usual beauty post, as you can tell from the title i am doing a fashion post. Also if you like fashion posts let me know and i might do a few more. Oh and sorry about the quality and the fact you can see my phone in every pick, its the only way i can take the pictures.

(First picture) Spotty Crop Top - Topshop, denim skater skirt - River Island, necklace - River Island
I really like this outfi,t i think the top and the skirt look really nice together. The skirt is actually a dungaree dress, i just tucked the the front under and i got a normal skirt.

(Second picture) White Crop Top - Newlook, Skirt - Topshop, Necklace - River Island
I wore this to my aunts 50th birthday party as we had to dress up a bit. I really like this outfit and i think it looks really nice on me.

(Third picture) Aztec High Neck Crop Top - Newlook, Skirt - River Island, Necklace - River Island
This was actually the first time i wore this top even thought i brought it ages ago, i didn't wear it because i didn't know what to wear it with, so the other day i put it up against some of my skirts and i really liked how these looked together.

(First picture) Aztec Crop Top - Newlook, Khaki Skirt - Newlook
I really like this top as i love the pattern and its a nice fit, i wore it with this khaki skater skirt as i thought it looked nice together and the skirt is really comfy as its slightly to big.

(Second picture) Gray Crop Top - Primark, Khaki Skirt - Newlook, Necklace - Topshop
Another really comfy outfit, gray goes with every think so i decided to put it with this khaki skirt.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara and eye shadow paint - Reiview

Rimmel Scandaleyes eye shadow paint in Rich Russet
Lots of people have been saying how good and long lasting these are, so of course i had to pick one up. There is five different colours in the collection, there is a gold, purple, silver, gray and the one i have which is a brown colour. It has a do-fut applicator which is very soft and makes it easy to apply the product. This drys very fast so you have work with it very fast. I put some all over my lid then blend it in with my finger. I apply a primer first and an eye shadow over the top to keep it in into place. It stays there all day and doesn't crease. It is a beautiful brown colour with shimmer in it. I really like using it and i think i might have to go back and get the gold colour.

Rimmel Scandaleyes retro glam mascara
I wanted to try a new mascara so when i saw this new one from Rimmel i thought i would pick it up and give it ago. I have used it a few times and i really like it, although it isn't that different from the original one, i think the formula is the same and the only difference is that the brush has a curve in it. Apart from that its really lovely. Its both lengthening and volumising and it makes my eyelashes look lovely. But i would say if you have the original scandaleyes mascara you don't need this one as well.

Natural Collection Cosmetics - Review

Hello everyone, so today i am going to be reviewing some of the Natural Collection cosmetics. This is brand is soo cheap, every product is under £2 and most of the time there is a three for £5 offer on. Natural Collection can only be found in boots and on boots.com. Natural collection make makeup products, body sprays and body care, today i will be talking about the makeup.

Pressed Face powder and blushed cheeks blushers £1.99
Powder products are what i think natural collection do the best, especially there blushers, they are so pigmented and very soft, they are slightly powdery but that is expected. There are four colours and they are all lovely and none of them have any shimmer in them, they are totally matte. This one i have is in the colour Pink Cloud, its a lovely baby pink colour that looks great on my pale skin. I have tried every colour and they are all lovely i would definitely recommend them.
This face powder is actually that first face powder i have brought and i would say it is pretty good, again it is very powdery but very good at mattifying the face and setting makeup, although it doesn't last all day, i would say around 3-4 hours, its great but i dont think i would buy it again.

Eye shadow singles £1.79 and duos £1.99
As i said before powder products are what natural collection do the best and that also includes the eye shadows. I used to use these all of the time when i was at school but i haven't actually used them in a long time and i really need to as they are really nice. Again they are very powdery but they are also very pigmented and very soft. Both of the single shadows that i have are matte, the dark bown one is called Milk Chocolate and that is a lovely colour to put in the crease. The lighter one is called Butterscotch this is perfect as an all over the lid colour and as a highlight.
The duo on the left is called Mocha/Latte, both colours are matte and it looks great when you put the lighter colour all over the lid and the darker colour in the crease, i also like to use the darker colour in my eye bows. The duo on the right is called Mink/Sable, the light brown colour has a little bit of shimmer in it but the light colour is matte this is a lovely duo and the colours go great together.

Nail polish £1.89
This is the only nail polish i have by them and the only one i have tried. This one is a little sheer and needs about 3-4 coats, the formula is okay and it lasts about 3 days on the nails. This colour is called Antique Coral, its a lovely coral colour with very fine glitter in it. Its okay but i dont know if i would buy any more.

Natural collections makeup line also includes a foundation which i have tried and it is terrible, Some mascaras which i haven't tired but are meant to be quite good, Stick concealers, regular concealer which i have tried and its not that good, bronzers ,loose powders, lip glosses which i have tried and really don't like, lipsticks which i haven't tried but are meant to be good and maybe a few more products.
Some of these products are great and if you are starting out in makeup i would recommend them to you highly.

Tag: How much is my face worth (updated)

So a while ago i did one of these posts, but that was before i wore as much makeup as i do now, so i thought i would do another one. I would just like to point out that most of the time i do change up what i use so i don't technically use every single one of these products every day but they are some of my favorite products that i enjoy using.

Revlon nearly naked foundation £8.99
This is my all time favorite foundation, the coverage is only light but you can build it up and it wont go cakey. The colour is perfect for me and i love the look it gives my face. For £8.99 i defiantly recommend it.

Collection lasting perfection concealer £4.99
I have only recently brought this but i can tell that i will be using this for a while and it will be in my everyday makeup routine for a while. It covers up every think i want it to and for £4.99 it is a bargain.

Natural collection face powder £1.99
This powder is okay, its not the best but it works, when i finish it i think i will buy the rimmel one as people always go on about how good it is. But for £1.99 this is pretty good.

NARS orgasam blusher £21.50
I really love this blusher its a lovely pinky peachy colour with gold shimmer in it, the pigmentation is perfect its not to pigmented and its not to sheer its just perfect. Its perfect for a wash of colour and great because you don't have to use a highlight as well. I do also use bronzer but only sometimes.

Urban decay basics pallet £20
I then use the dark brown colour in this pallet to fill in my eyebrows, so make them darker and more defined, i also use this pallet for my eye shadow, but most of the time i use different eye shadow everyday, but this is one of my favorite pallets so i thought i would mention it.

ELF eyelid primer £1.50
I use my elf eyelid primer, which is actually very good, to prime my lids for whatever eye shadow i am going to use.

Collection work the colour eyeshadow pencil £3.19
This product is amazing it is so pigmented and very creamy, its very long lasting and is one great product. I use this on the first half of my waterline and lower lash line. I have actually done a review on these here.

Rimmel scandaleyes mascara £6.99
This is a new product i have been using recently, and its actually really good, there isn't much difference between this one and the original though. But its really good and i should be reviewing this soon.

Now not till now have i released that i didn't take a picture of any lip products, obviously i do change my lip colour every day, but a product i have really been liking recently is the boujois colour boost lip crayon in peach on the beach £7.99

So all together my face is worth the grand total of £77.14p
Which actually isn't that bad, now im sure just like you i do change my products up every time i do my makeup, but these are just some of my favorite products that i thought i would mention.

I have heard lots of great things about this and it sounds really good, i do get the odd spot which is very annoying and i would love to give this ago to see if it gets rid of them.

Maybelline Baby Lips £2.99
A lot of people have been raving about these and i would to give one of the tinted ones ago.

Vaseline Spray and Go £4.99
Again a lot of people have been saying how good these are, i really want to try the cocoa one as i can imagine it smells really nice. I do think that this is kind of expensive so i am going to wait until it goes on offer.

Bourjois Healthy mix serum Foundation £10
I really want to try a new foundation and this always gets good things said about it and i would really love to try it. But again its expensive so i will wait to it goes on offer.

Collective Beauty Haul - Superdrug, Boots and China Glaze

Hello everyone, today's post is going to be a collective post of some makeup and some other things i have brought lately, i hope you enjoy. I have taken these pictures in a different set up because im getting a bit bored of my old one, i don't really have many places to take pictures with really good lightening but this one is okay, tell me what you think of the new set up.

E.L.F eyelid primer in sheer, eBay £2.89
Lots of people have been saying how good this primer is, so i thought i would pick it up and give it a go, its meant to be like the urban decay primer potion and i do agree with that, i have the UDPP and it wasn't working that well for me so i wanted to try a new one, but this elf one is more or less the same. I brought it from ebay simply because i didn't want to pay for delivery on the elf website.

Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeshadow paint in Rich Russet, superdrug £3.99 (offer)
Again lots of people have been talking about these and saying how good and long lasting they are so of course i had to pick one up, i have used it a few times and it is lovely. I am actually going to do a review on this and the next product so im not going to say to much.

Rimmel Scandaleyes retro glam mascara, superdrug £4.99 (offer)
I brought this because i wanted to try a new mascara so i picked this one up mainly because it was on offer, i have used it a few times and it is very nice, i would say it is more of a volumising than lengthening, as i said i am going to do a review of this so that's all im going to say.

Collection Lasting perfection concealer, superdrug £3.99 (offer)
I have used this once before but i brought it in the wrong shade so i haven't really been able to use it, so as i had a little more money this month i thought i would pick it up and give it another go. And im safe to say it really is as brilliant as people say, it covers up my spots and any redness i have, im glad i brought it.

Bourjois colour boost lipstick in peach on the beach, boots £7.99
People have been raving on about these saying how brilliant they are, so i thought i would pick it up and give it a go. I have used it a few times and i really like it, the colour is a lovely peach colour and looks great on my skin tone, its very pigmented and goes on like a dream. It says it lasts 10 hours but that's not true at all. I love this product but i £7.99 is a lot for it.

Collection Work the colour eyeshadow pencil in Vanilla Sky, Wilkinson's £2.50 (offer)
I am actually obsessed with eyeshadow pencil at the moment and these collection one are what stared it all off. I have actually done a review on these here. These are so soft and very pigmented if you haven't tried these i recommend that you do.

Batiste dry conditioner smoothing conditioning mist, boots £2.99 (offer)
I love batiste dry shampoo so when i saw they had came out with a dry conditioner i had to give it a go, i have used it once and it made my hair nice and soft buts that's about it, it wasn't overwhelming like an amazing product i thought it was just okay, i expected it to add shine to my hair but it didn't, kind of a disappointment.

L'Oreal skin perfection 3 in 1 purifying micealler solution, superdrug £2.48 (offer)
People always say that this is really good and i have wanted to try it for a while, so when i saw it on offer i had to pick it up, i have used it a few times and its alright, i think its great that you can use on your face and eyes and it doesn't irritate them, its very soft and takes makeup off well, but i will still use a cleanser after, its not amazing if im honest i think i prefer cream products, but i will still use it as i think its a nice product.

China glaze nail lacquer in Awakening, Sallys around £2-3 on sale
This is a lovely purple duocrome colour with gold shimmer in it, its quite sheer so its best over another nail polish. I got this for a right bargain and im glad i picked it up.

Collection Work the Colour Eyeshadow Pencil - Review

I was in superdrug the other week just having a look at the makeup and i came across these the Collection Work the Colour Eyeshadow Pencils. I just brought the one to see what it was like, i used it the next day and i loved it so much that i decided i wanted them all. There are six colours in the collection they are all shimmery and very lovely colours, there is a brown, pink, champagne, black, gray and navy. I actually have another which i actually brought after i took these pictures so sorry about that.
The brown colour that i have is called Hot Chocolate, its a very creamy consistency with a bit of shimmer. Like all of them it is very very pigmented and go on like a dream. They are great blended all over the lid or even in the waterline, that's how i have been wearing this brown colour, using it instead of my usual harsh black. It stays in the water line all day and it doesn't smudge. If you want to try the NYX  jumbo eye pencil but cant get your hands on them, then give these a go i think they are brilliant dupes.
Especially this pink colour, i always here American beauty YouTubers go on about the NYX jumbo eye pencil in yogurt which i actually own and this pink colour Vintage Blush is an amazing dupe for it, the collection one is slightly lighter and the NYX is slightly more bronzey, but other than that they are more or less the same product. Just like the brown one this is very pigmented and very creamy, i have been wearing this all over the lid with a powder to set it, i haven't used it with out a shadow on top so i don't now if they crease or not with out, they can go a bit patchy all over the lid so that why i put a shadow on top. This is a lovely pink bronzey colour and i really like it. The other colour i have which i didn't picture is Vanilla Sky its a lovely creamy champagne colour that is a lovely inner corner and brow bone high light. They are only £3.19 and i would recomend you giving them ago.

How i Take Care of my Nails at Home

Today im going to show you how i take care of my nails at home. Some of you may now that i have done a beauty therapy level 2 course at college, so i now how to and the importance of taking care of your nails. When i was at college i was having manicures and pedicures every week for more or less a whole year, so i would say my hands and feet are in very good condition. But we all have cuticles and we all want to get rid of them so every week i give my self a mini manicure to take care of those nasty cuticles.
First of all i make sure all my nail polish is off and my nails are nice and clean, then i take some nail clippers and cut my nails down to the length i want and also to get rid of any broken of brittle nail. Then i use the Models own Shapeit Buffit nail file/buffer and shape and buff my nails to make them look nice, shiny and healthy. Next i take my Marks and Spencer nail treatment oil, i put some of this all over my nails and then rub it in to make sure my nails are nice and hydrated, i also use it to stop any braking, splitting or brittle nails. Then i take some more of the oil and concentrate it on my cuticles and let it sink in for a few minutes, then i take my hoof stick (the white plastic stick in picture) and use that to push my cuticles back to get them out of the way when it comes to painting my nails. I do have a tool called cuticle nippers but i don't really use them as they are quite hard to use on myself, all they do is a the name describes nips away and cuticle. After i use the hoof stick i make sure there is no oil on my nails and take it off my washing my nails. Then i use the Rimmel London 5 in 1 nail treat and just use this as a clear coat on my nails. After i have done that i usually lave my nails for a few day before i paint them with a colour. I use the cuticle stick/ orange wood stick through the week just to clean the underneath of my nails (lovely)

Products i have used up #9

Batiste dry shampoo
I brought this little bottle for my holiday and it was great, it lasted the hole holiday bearing in mind i didn't use it everyday. I used it on second day hair to make it look a bit cleaner and less shiny. I love batiste and i don't think i will waste my time trying other dry shampoos.

Vo5 gloss me smoothly shampoo
I got this at clothes show live last December and i have only just run out of it, i used it every two - three days and barely using any other shampoos, that shows that a 500ml bottle really can last a long time. This shampoo was lovely, it cleaned my hair so well and made it look very healthy and smooth. I have almost finished the conditioner as well, im sure that will be in my next empties post. I really like Vo5 hair products and if you haven't tried any think by them you have to. If you would like to now more about this product i reviewed it here.

Schwarzkoft got2b guardian angel heat protection
I think i am now on about my third or fourth bottle of this stuff, its just an essential in my hair care routine, its a product you just now you should use even though you don't really see a difference in your hair. I have already brought another bottle and i think i will repurchase this for a very long time.

Olay gentle cleanser conditioning milk
I got sent this a while ago and at the time i didn't think much of it as i was using it to remove my makeup, but since then i have been using this to cleanse my skin in the morning and it is great for that. It is very refreshing and i feel like it cleans my skin very well. I have already repurchased this and im sure i will for a while.

Nivea soft refreshingly soft moistruisng cream
I have talked about this product so much and by now im sure you all now how much i love this product. I use it every were on my feet, my face and my body, its a great product and if you have dry skin any were on your body i would recommend trying this. Its very affordable only about £1-2 and for me its a staple product i will always repurchase this.
